Well about to leave Auckland tomorrow for a 3-4day road trip down the west coast to Wellington.

Any recommended sites or must-sees on the west coast, or any recommended sites or places to stay the night? (in campervans of couurse)

Fisrtly you must be bloody brave in this weather in a campervan!!! :laugh

West coast - there are some good waterfalls and a stunning natural bridge near Waitomo called Marakopa falls, should be fine with the weather being that bit wetter now.
Farther down not too sure apart from the usual stops in New Plymouth. Expect to see some pretty breathtaking snow covered volcanoes on the way :nice1

No just very tight budget! :D
Still 2 sleeping bags / Silk Liner & a 4 season duvet i hope will suffice. But getting out of it in the mornings could be tricky! :)

With ya on that one Lee, it is bad enough in this rental in the morning but you are going one better in a camper :)
