Quick question, about EOI:
Web site is showing:
We are very pleased to confirm that your Expression of Interest 'Mr' has been selected from the Pool for further consideration.
Is this dealt with in New Zealand or London?
Regards
Karen
Also our date that we had been selected has changed? Is this normal?
(Was 23 May now showing 6 June)

Hiya
Don't know anything about the date change I'm afraid but we live in England currently and our case was referred to the London branch. Shortly after we were selected, we had a letter from New Zealand confirming that our EOI had been selected and saying that we would now be referred to London branch. Then we heard, like NOTHING for 3 months and then FINALLY got our ITA

Hi,
pretty certain that the change of date is normal.
What happens now is they check the EOI to ensure that you have claimed the points correctly -for example if you are claiming points for a qualification and work experience then they have to be in the same subject - that kind of thing, and providing everything is fine you get your ITA. I think that it is all dealt with in London though.

Update Tuesday 26th June, received letter confirming that our EOI had been selected and that our application had been sent onto London for processing.
Any ideas how long this will take (no job offer at momet)
Regards

Take a look here http://www.immigration.govt.nz/branch/londonbranchhome/tipsandprocessingtimes/skilledmigrantprocessingtimes.htm
Current waiting time for those without a job offer appears to be 3 months.

My signature below shows the time it took for each step for my recent application. You might want to get your police check started now. It costs very little, so you won't be out very much money if your application is thrown back into the pool.
