Hi all

If we submit ITA with job offer how long could it be until we receive visa?
How long do you have until you have to move to NZ? (Paul will only get visa until registered in NZ). I wonder what happens if we get visa and then can't sell the house?
Sorry if this isn't clear. It's all constantly whirring around my head :uhoh :uhoh

I remember trying to work out the logistics of our move too - I just couldn't seem to get my head around it. I started to feel like my head was constantly in a whirl too and everything began to liken to the chicken and egg scenario !!

I don't know how it happens, but miraculously one day, everything all comes together - honestly !!

I know I'm not being of much help here, but believe me when I say this happens to most of us.

Good luck,

Julie

Scroll to the bottom of this page (http://www.emigratenz.org/immigration-application-timings.html) to see the most recent timings people have entered for how long it takes between ITA and PR. Check for ones that say Yes to having a job offer.

3 weeks from submitting ITA to getting PR visas, but I think I was lucky. You then have a year to activate them.

Natalie, you have 12 months once you pay the migrant levy, BUT you can have up to 6 months to pay that before you receive your visa, so in all you could theoretically eke it out for 18 months, no good if you have a job waiting for you though.

Good look, don't worry, your mind will be a quagmire for months, it happens to us all.

Re: house--You could possibly arrange for someone (friend / relative) to take care of details on selling the house (or a good agent will handle all) and could you then use FAX, etc. to take care of signing docs when the house sells?

But, hey, it may all fall into place and happen before you leave...fingers crossed for you that all shall be well.

This is such an exciting time!!
