I am looking in Auckland or close to the city in August.
If anyone has a room for rent or knows someone, please let me know.
Mostly of my kiwi friends live in Plenty of bay area and Nortland.
However I need to be close to Auckland for job interview purposes.

This is the hotel that we stayed when we got here in NZ, before we found our apartment. It's like a hotel, but it's actually an apartment where lots of students live there.

Maybe that link is not answering your question, but if u can't find anything, worth of check.

Flatmates are often wanted for longer term house shares, but you may find one for only a month.

Hi Anna,
I believe that at least u'll have a better idea of what u'll find once in Auckland... it'll be easy to approach flatmating (if that's what u're looking for) from newspapers. I'll be doing the same just staying for a week or two in backpackers auckland centran while looking for a place a little cheaper such as a shared flat, then I'll start looking for a job offer and choose the closest place to live to my future workplace!
