That's the sound of the world screaming past at the moment! Everything is flying along at a crazy rate, so much so that I'm not getting chance to keep you guys updated. And you've been so helpful you deserve better, so here we go!
My work visa finally came through on Friday and I picked it up yesterday. I put together all the paperwork for the ITA this morning and Anneliese is couriering that to NZ House this afternoon. I'm charging round doing last minute things (like selling the car) and I step on a plane at 8.30pm tomorrow night! I'll be in Auckland by Sunday lunchtime (after a one-night stopover in Dubai) and start work on Monday morning! So when's the next Auckland blokes' night out??! :cheers
After all that I think I'll treat myself to a brief :raebanana
The last few weeks have been crazy. Lots of downs, but luckily a few ups. The house sale has got a bit wobbly but looks like it's back on course. We had issues with the lady who's taking our cats, but that now appears sorted. And then we got marooned by the floods in the north of England when we went up to say goodbye to my folks. I'll be glad to finally get out there but feel a bit bad leaving Anneliese with so much still to sort out.
So now all I've got to do is pack! Which, me being a bloke, will take about 5 minutes!!!
See you all soon.
