Im stuck on the qualifications for secondary school bit.

I finished school in 1970 without any qualifications. Will I be able to get a certificate from the Education Council or will an attendence record be okay?

I have next week off work so I will probably call up NZQA to find out.

Why does stuff like this happen on fridays when you cant do anything until monday??

EDIT: What are the absolute skills shortages? I can't find any definative answer on any website?

IMO the nzqa don't need to know about any results from schools, I think they are just checking that you have had a good level of education. We sent off A level and O level certificates but these were not assessed, the only things they actually assessed for us were the NVQ and Degree.
I don't think a school attendance report will help.

I tried to get school certificate etc. info from around the same dates in the UK. All without luck as the school authorities do not keep records that far back.Believe me I tried all over the place so save your energy. I also agree with the above regarding proof of english educational background. See! That's one more chore to take off the list. LOL
