It takes more than the M6 in total gridlock northbound and southbound to stop us NW girlies getting together you know.

Better late than never - that's what I say.

It was great to meet up and have the chance to give Linda abit of a send off. 72 hours to go and counting .......

We managed to nab a passing waitress to take our photo.

All the best to Linda, Ali & Lucy. See you on the other side.

Good to see you guys got home safely - Diny I believe your journey home was as 'enjoyable' as on the way there. Hope it didn't take too long.

It was wonderful to see you 3 again, though I did get a bit worried I was going to be stood up for a while. Thanks for all making the effort :nice1

Linda looked totally chilled (hope I'll be like that when we're so close to 'D-day'!), and as always passed on many 'helpful things to know' about the shipping companies, packing in general etc etc. Strange to think that next time we'll meet it will be in the land of the long white cloud :P

Anyway, our best wishes to Linda, Ali & Lucy for these final 48hrs, safe journey guys, look forward to reading/hearing about your adventures.

Next North West meet (ok Kim - you can join us again this time  )early Feb, to tie in with PB being at home.

luv

Well it would be rude not to add to this thread.

Ain't no mountain high enough etc etc.

Yes through the thelwall viaduct, passed knursford all the way to jct 18 never once went over 40 mph. But heck we all carried with our mission.

Linda's send off was a great reminder of the dreaded traffic on a Bank Holiday she'll be leaving behind and please before I create a 'it's just as bad in AKL thread'. Trust me it's not.

Anyway's the lunch was great :nice1 (Thanks Linda) shame we didn't have longer to chat.

All the best to Linda, Ali and Lucy on their journey. I suspect Linda could make it work on the moon she has that much calm and detirmination about her.

I eventually got home at 6.20pm. The traffic was amazing.

I happied myself with copious amounts of Cadbury's Dairy Milk and playing all my favourite songs on the stereo. Singing my lungs out and getting all kinds of funny looks from the other folks stuck in the jam.

What the heck ....... I'll never see them again.

So true Linda! It's just been great meeting up, on top of posting on the forum.

Feel we've extended our family (without all the usual 'family problems' )
