With the value of the NZ Dollar continuing to rise, a “guess the value of the NZD” competition should be interesting.

Each member has one guess. You can choose to guess the value of the NZ Dollar compared with whichever one of these currencies you prefer:

UK Pound
US Dollar
Canadian Dollar
Euro
South African Rand

The winner will receive an ENZ t-shirt.

Please submit your entries in this thread.

Rules:

Entrants should make their guess using 6 digits, in the form:

1 (currency) = n NZD


For example:

1 GBP = 2.59012 NZD

or

1 USD = 1.28718 NZD

or

1.00 CAD = 1.21339 NZD

or

1.00 EUR = 1.74743 NZD

or

1 ZAR = 0.183593 NZD


The competition will close for entries at 9pm New Zealand time on Monday 9 July.

The winner will be the person whose entry is closest in percentage terms to the actual exchange rate between their chosen currency and the NZ dollar between 8.59pm and 9.01pm New Zealand time, on Monday 16 July.

The exchange rate used to judge the outcome will be the mid-market rate provided by a well-known currency exchange website. I will be happy to PM the name of this site to any entrant on request.

That's an easy one, it will be back up to $3 per pound, 24 hours after I exchange my money for $2.5 per pound. I'll let you know ......

Having read your posts you are clearly only 26 years old, so I can say yes it will reach $2.80 before you turn 40.
