Hello people...
I recently sent an email to our "ITA case officer" asking her couple questions and update. Funny thing was she replied me saying "oh I am no longer working for NZIS. " and then she said that "if you need some other assistance you should contact your new case officer." :uhoh :uhoh
also she told us that if we need some immidiate assistance, we can contact this person. I sent email to the immidiate assistance person and asking about who is our new officer, however up until now no reply. and news :no :?
What bothers me is that, she didn't even email/notify us at all. Luckily that we have some questions that day.
Anybody experiencing this before?

Xantus,
that's really worrying. Also the fact that she replied to the email. was it an NZIS email or her own personal one.
Q1. WHy would they give out ersonal email addresses not an NZIS one
or
2. Why was she replying to an NZIS email if she no longer works there??
There is maybe more behind this but on reading your post those questions just stared straight at me.
Sorry though I haven't experinece that.not yet anyway :hopeso

This sounds very much like an automated "out of office" reply from her mail application. This is not something that has been written specifcally for you, but will be sent in reply to any mails sent to that address.
We use them for staff that leave all the time, they always start with text like you described.
Chill out, I'm sure there's no problem.

foolsgold,
I thought about your statement that she might just on vacation during holidays. However, I just realized that our officer is really quit from the NZIS, she is no longer our case officer. I hope that we will get a kind one again...our last officer was really nice and kind with us...
Nonetheless, thx for the feedback guys

Xantus,
we had the same experience. perhaps we had the same case officer - we weren't notified either. Phoned up one evening and after many attempts was finally told by answer machine that our case officer had changed.
we phoned the person mentioned in the message and sure enough, she admitted to being our new case officer "Oh I thought she'd informed everyone"... mmm no!!!
Anyway, no harm no foul, she'll take over the case for the time being but may offload it if her workload gets too high. My advice would be to make a phone call and find out for sure - hate to think your file's been lost behind a desk somewhere mid move :wah

Well guess what? I called NZIS london branch, and an Un-friendly lady picked up and talked to me...boy, she was like...there is no case officer for you, until you send those ITA papers! and I was like...wait a moment, but I got a letter from the NZIS stated that "this lady named bla bla bla" is my case officer? and then she keep answering the same statement. Which is We will not need a case officer to process this, and just the ITA paperworks.
Now I begin to wonder and a bit worry... :( :? :no
