Hi,
I have just completed the first year of a part time MBA in the UK and will be arriving in NZ in October.
One of the options when I arrive would be to try to complete the course in NZ (full time or part time) but I am not sure if the qualification is valued by employers over there?
Im sure it depends on the employer etc but does any one have any experience or advice?
Thanks
Phil

In my experience, NZ is more fixated with tertiary qualifications than UK Phil, but perhaps less so than continental Europe. If you PM me, I can put you in touch with someone who might have a more informed view.

In my opinion NZ is very fixated on tertiary education. Since I only have university papers, but no degree finished I have big trouble on the job market. Did not come along this problem in Holland, where I am from.
I just started another education again, to see whether that will be of any use.
So, my suggestion would be to complete it.
Cheers,
Anita

Thanks for the replies. I have emailed Hamilton Uni to find out if I can transfer to their programme, so it might be that I end up back at school. ;)

Hi Phil,
Just out of interest, where are you doing your MBA in the UK?
