If you have already made the move, which shippers did you use?? I think we sold our house yesterday! :hopeso :eek :P so now I really need to make a decision about which shippers to use! :nice1

Congrats on selling your house Diannae!

We can't get over how good Allied Pickford's handled our move (U.S. to Tauranga.) One glass bowl was broken...that was it! The movers were terrific...not a mark on a wall or the floor...and they actually seemed happy too! :clap And we had a LOT of stuff (40 ft. container)! I know they aren't the least expensive, but we can highly recommend them! :nice1

Congratulations on the house sale :nice1

Hopefully everything will go smoothly from here on :hopeso

We used Bishopsmove and seen as our stuff hasn't arrived yet, can't really say much. The Packers in England were excellent though.

I have had quotes from White and Co this was for a 20 foot container to Napier and was 2900. The quote from Brittania was 2600. Both seemed very good. Brittania quoted me for a Reefer container which is smaller that the 20ft one. Looking on threads on the forums both seem to have a good reputation. Hope this is of help.

No, I'd love to hear - especially since Crown is the only one on the poll that has more than 1 vote so far!!

Looks like we will be flying out a week before we complete........ otherwise it's too far into December and flights are expensive / non-existant :( Luckily we are in Scotland, which hopefully means that it won't fall through at the last minute, but I'm sure it will still be nerve wracking! :eek :eek :eek

Will let you know then, Crown do come highly recommended though.

Good luck with the sale its terribly stressful, as you are in Scotland doen't that mean that your buyers are already commited ?

Hi,
I just thought I'd say, there are a lot of other companies.
Also, as I said on the other thread, you might want to read the "Martyn Vizzavi" story about his experiences with AP :wah :eek

I know! Why do you think I'm having such a hard time choosing one!! :wah :uhoh :eek Sigh. And as the poll shows, there's no clear favourite :no :? Decisions, decisions... !

Hi,
I know how you feel.
We're thinking of self-packing. That at least removes the problem of finding a firm with good packers.
Then all we need is someone who can ship a container !
Have you got a pin ?
Cheers
Steve
