Hi

I have been reading through this forum for a couple of months now but have never posted before as we were, "just thinking", about moving to NZ. The help and advice to be gained from this forum is invaluable.

I think now we have pretty much decided to take the plunge. My OH lived in Wellington in the 80's and strangely many of our friends in the UK are kiwis, some of whom are already back home and some plan to return in the next couple of years.

My family consist of me, my OH and our 2 daughters aged 5 & 7. As I shall probably need to post lots of questions in the future I thought I would first take the opportunity to introduce ourselves.

I am a dentist and have managed to secure a job offer in Wellington so am now gathering paperwork for professional registration which I need before submitting an EOI.

OH is an electronics service & installation tech. and will wait until we arrive before his jobsearch. That way he can be around to sort out after school, dog arriving, shipment arriving housing etc.

We are very lucky in that we have friends to stay with in Wellington for our first couple of weeks.

Anyway that's us, just saying, "Hello".
