Hello everyone,
I have been reading posts on this site since February this year when we (I'm Aaron and my fiance is Louise) started our paperchase excercise to gather all the necesary 'bumf' for our applications. I had applied for a job in Auckland and found out 2 weeks later that I had got it. Thats where the fun began...
This website has been a great source of information and we found any answers to questions we had either on here or on the NZIS site. We havent actually posted any threads before because like i said either the questions had been asked before or the answers/info was easy to find.
To cut a long story short, we have now been in Nz for 6 weeks. we had 2 weeks 'grace' when we arrived where my company put us up in serviced apartments and I wasnt in work.
In the first week we found an apartment (fully furnished as we didnt ship anything out. we sold all our belongings, rented the uk house unfurnished and arrived with our suitcases and a farely easy going attitude. Obviously this is easier due to no kiddies to look after), bought a car and for the second did some auckland exploration.
So far we like what we see.
Its only now that we are here that I really have any questions so I will post them in the relevant sections.
