Anybody had any recent experience of the time to process a work permit in London.

I have medicals arranged for 27 July and hope to have all the paperwork ready so that when we get the medical report a week or so later I can jump on a train and hand delivery the application forms.

Not got a lot of time to spare as we are looking at flights on 23rd August.

Have come up with a possible solution.

Apply for a short term work permit for OH (don't need a medical so can send now) and submit EOI.

Medicals will be ready for ITA.

Only concern is do I need to apply for a family stream work permit for me or can I enter NZ without visa if PR not approved before we go?
