Well the time is drawing nearer and we are now starting to look for a place to rent when we arrive.

I read a thread by Pip ( I think ) who managed to find someone in rural Christchurch who let out a furnished property and also allowed pets. I'm hoping someone on here will know of somewhere similar as one of my biggest concerns is not being able to find a place that allows dogs.

Thanks to a thread by Moorf I have decided to use Bunny Lodge, who can arrange collection of our dog from the airport and look after her until we are settled and all for a reasonable price, but I don't really want her in kennels for more than a week or so. ( thanks Moorf:nice1 )

I know all the usual estate agent sites but was hoping to find a private rental somewhere. So is there anyone out there would like to rent to a family of 5 and a dog??? or are there any links to private rental sites.
