I just checked their website and it says that there is about 30 days delay in getting your results. But on the guide we printed out it says that you will get an email so say that they have received your application, and we still have nothing. They've had it two days.
We used the fast track option.
Did you get a responce when you sent if off?

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but, the 30 days, is how long they will actually take to process the application. How long it sits in someones in tray before they look at it is another.
Also we had no e mail contact from them until the process had finished.
We did have regular contact be phone as it was the only way we could think of to try and push them into action.
Hope your process isn't too long and drawn out.

Seems to depend on your assigned case officier. Mine emailed me as soon as my documents were recieved but maybe because she had a few questions to ask me? Took 5 weeks in all but my report has come back with a mistake so goodness knows how long to re-do!

I got an email several days after they received it just acknowledging it was there. They did not contact me again for over two and a half months and I fast tracked also.
Sorry to tell you that you are now one of the many who sit hostage to their backlog. Try to be patient, not worry, and just work on other things that need to be done.

What did they do wrong? Are they going to fix it? Will it be a priority?

They stated that I attended Sheffield City Polytechinic - correct but followed by 'now known as University of Sheffield' - incorrect, it is now known as Sheffield Hallam University. I would not want to be accused of giving false information further down the line somewhere.
Easy mistake to make except that my original letter from Sheffield Hallam University states it clearly, so NZQA copied it wrongly.
Yes I will remind them to act fast so as not to delay any longer!

We are busy with the process... Great feedback so far.
What is causing the backlog?

A change in the policy that meant more people had to undergo assessments from the beginning of the year.
