Just wondered if anyone has thaken this route 'Work to Residence' through immigration?

I need to know if when I apply as the principal applicant...My wife then applies as a partner to a work visa applicant. How does she prove initially that I am eligible for a work visa, when I don't yet have it??

Do the immigration people work around this in-house?

Also do my two children of 4 years and 9 months have to fill in any form?
Not sure it will be legible or even dry in the case of the youngest... :laugh

Any help with this process would be very much appreciated.

From what I remember of the application, when the principal applicant applies they also submit details for their partner and dependents.

And yes, your wife submits her details as if you have applied / granted a work to residence visa.

In our case, the principal applicant was granted a work to residence visa, the partner was granted a work visa and the dependents were granted student visas.

And of course you fill in the forms for your children.
