After some toing and froing between several employers...and negotiations regarding salary, relocation packages and the like..
I have finally accepted a job in Wellington...'NEW ZEALAND' !!! :D
Can't really believe it yet... Wellington sounds cool !!!
So now I will have even more questions for you guys in the know...;)
I managed to get the salary I expected with a review after 6 months and $15k for relocation expenses.
This should cover the flights and the container at least...
We will get a rental place to stay initially.
Couldn't get a car out of them though!!!
But I should be able to buy one soon enough.

You did well and Good luck with your move.
Is it Quite common for the employer to offer Rellocation package ?
Also what other allowances and packages can one negiotiate
while accepting an offer with an NZ employer ?.

We would like to thank everyone for their comments regarding my new job offer !
To answer the question above...
I am not sure if it is common, but I have heard of many people who did get some relocation package of sorts. I think employers n NZ have had the luxury of potential employees knocking on their door in the past and to a great extent today also.
In my field I have been lucky that in NZ the Central Government has requested that persons to be recruited must have higher qualifications. There are a lack of qualified Building Control Officers in the UK let alone NZ...
Options for negotiation were, accommodations, a hire car, private health insurance, family health options, lump sum of money to help with settlement, everything paid for; such as the container, insurances, flights, visas and medicals etc. They would expect some tie in for a period of say, 2 years. Or you must repay the money. 100% in the first year, and 50% if you leave before the 2 years is up.
I didn't get all of these options, because quite frankly I just want to get there. I provide architectural services, house design, plans and Planning/Regulations consents etc. outside of my main job.
I can continue my private work in NZ after settling.
I have heard of one lady who got a lot more for a higher management role. The thread is on here somewhere...
