Thanks for the info, do you know if all the requirements are necessary? ie. Send off proof of qualifications gained at school etc. The list seemed a bit extensive, I was hoping to just send off the certificates for a trade certificate.

I think that the school quals are just a check that you have a reasonable level of education. Also a further check that you are who you say you are. We sent off everything they asked for, but not sure how much they actually looked at. The only things that they assessed were the degree and nvq.

thanks for that, its my dad who is applying for the assessment, he left school about 30 years ago but unsure of how to obtain his school qualifications - does anyone have any ideas? Will this be necessary?

Be prepared for a long wait indeed - my assessment took almost 9 weeks on fast-track. I got so impatient I sent off for a pre-assessment, that was supposed to take 10 working days but took 24 instead. In the end the full assessment arrived before my pre-assessment:uhoh

They may be speeding up!. Just got my assesment back for a BTEC HND, took 19 days including postage times with fast track. I had previously done a pre-assesment online, don't know if that makes a difference, probably not!
