:cheers

Well just had the call from company here in Wellington (well Lower Hutt) after 2nd interview, and i start Monday morning bright and early! Few clauses like getting my NZ Registeration (Electrician) sorted out by November etc but there to be expected and understood. So the major step to my new life in NZ is under way, with the job means i can finally look at applying for PR etc and all the other things that come with work and life in NZ.

Its meant my original plans to travel in my van for 6mths have fallen by the wayside and i am to settle now, but theres years to do the touristy things i am sure. Anyone want an old rusty campervan? :p

Now, where to find somewhere or someone to rent with in Wellington.....

PS: Any Electricians working in NZ mind PMing regards salarys etc, no idea going rate over here and want to check i not been short-changed :yes

Time to go have a beer tonight then! :nice1

Well done on the offer Lee:clap As for the rates well they can vary, but my friend is on $26 an hour. He started on $19 when he arrived 2.5 yrs ago. I guess you have to negotiate a little to get more.
