:? we all know how confusing the NZIS website is and how they send you round in circles, well I'm in one.

let me explain! - we're applying in the Work to Residency Category

My wife has a job offer, and we're applying for her Work permit, but we're unsure if I need a visitors permit and our daughter (4yrs) needs a student visa as well.

Also - isnt the Medical Certificate expensive :eek we've managed to find one in Manchester which has a Radio-ologist & Doctor in the same establishment so its cheaper - this one thing we havent budgeted for. <£400.

All being well we'll be in Auckland for Christmas. :nice1

I think the NZIS site is abit confusing ... as for the forms - well, all I can say is thank God you can keep downloading extra copies !!

I'm amazed at the prices for some of the medicals folks on here are being asked to pay. We had ours 2 weeks ago. 1 x adult medical, 2 x child medicals, 1 x chest x-ray, 1 x blood test - total cost 195.00.

I think I came off pretty good. Name & Address of clinic supplied if anybody interested. It's in Birmingham but maybe a drive to this part of the country would work out cheaper than what some of you are having to pay.
