Yes,
I have just booked my flights.

word of warning for anyone out there with a hyphenated name - the air new zealand website does not recognise the hyphen in you name, so when it asks you to write your name exactly as on you passport, don't.

Apart from that, we are on our way.

Leave Manchester on 23rd Aug and arrive in Auckland at 6:30 on the 29th.

We had exactly the same thing day before yesterday :) Six people, four with hyphenated last names, all but one with first name and middle name, flying in sets of three on two different dates.

I'm sure the poor woman on the phone needed a holiday after she dealt with our booking...

Some of us are going on the 13th of November, the other three on the 4th of December, Air New Zealand as well.

Spoke to Emirates today and if you are emigrating you can have 40 kg's luggage :nice1 and free carriage of golf clubs.
Reserved tickets as our case officer has approved our application and it's being quality checked on Monday so saving shampoo till its offical.
So fingers crossed flying from Birmingham on Aug 21 for a Aug 23 landing in Christchurch at 12.55am.
The flights pan out very well with minimum stop overs in Dubai and Sydney
:cheers
