What should I do?

I have a nice Bernina Sewing Machine. It is a basic model, not computerized. Works great. Bought in the USA.

The question is, do I sell it here, or bring with me?

Ladies, if you happen to pass a sewing center, can you pop in and ask how much for their basic machine (at the low end)?

Men, what about the motor, will it work fine with a converter... or is it just going to die from the strain eventually?

I was really hoping to keep mending the clothes...make bedspreads..occasional projects... ANd this machine runs like the roll royce...smooth motor in the Berninas.

Such a mundaine question...but Bernina isn't cheap...so I don't know what to do?

Thanks,
Jennifer[/b]

You know it's really odd because I was looking at my sewing machine today. I would really be anxious to hear the answers on this one.
