Thought I'd spend some time on the computer while the baby is asleep. 5 minutes later my other children are quite happily running around our freezing lounge butt naked!! Maybe i'm just soft in my old age, but they don't seem bothered by the temperatue at all!!

My 4 year old son doesn't seem too bothered by the cold either. He might have freezing cold hands and feet and still say he's not cold at all!

That sounds about right. My kids keep leaving clothes/socks all over the place, despite me tying to wrap them up warm every morning. Don't know why I bother sometimes.

My kids are the same. They are in shorts and teeshirts a lot of the time, even when I'm bundled up in jumpers! :roll

my mum brought them from UK a pair of slipper each, they hardly wore as they pulled them off as soon as they got a chance, then sock....

Mine seem to live in those Crocks things....they also won't keep slippers on their feet. My mum bought some for them before we left UK, and I'd hate to tell her there are equivalents here for about a quarter of the price!

My little boy is also an escape artist...managed to get out of the front door the other day...he waddled out with my wellies up to his thighs in the rain. Would have to pick the one day to decide to be fireman sam, when OH was in a hurry and did not lock the door properly!

Half the kids around here are still in shorts!

Some of the kids from my daughter's school are still barefoot and it's not due to poverty. They just don't feel the cold!

Just happily join your kids running in retrovision (5 days back) and you'll feel warmer within 5 minutes :yes

My son very definitely doesn't feel the cold.. was in his trunks and nothing else on the beach today whilst I was bundled up in roll neck long sleeve cotton top, jumper and fleece jacket. I did take the fleece off eventually but only after I'd sat in the sun for a while!:laugh

However he has insisted on the purchase of a pair of slippers and a dressing gown, glad I got them from The Warehouse as they aren't getting much use!

My son is definitely a don't feel the cold boy, he can be blue and not complaining. My daughter's a different matter, it can be 20 degrees and if there's a puff of wind she'll just say "cold, daddy" and weasel a cuddle.

My daughter is just the same with her dad....I think they like the cuddles :)

I have a mixture, the little ones don't seem to get cold but the older ones do. I do remember the older ones not feeling the cold when they were little tho.
I am amazed at some kids walking to school on the frosty mornings with just t shirts and shorts,i have a knee length coat, leather gloves and scarf on and still feeling the cold. Must be an age thing.I did used to see OAPs in the UK in the middle of summer in thick coats and think they must be melting!
