Can anyone recommend any moving firms to ship stuff from the UK to NZ.

Try doing a search, forum members have used lots of different companies, some you get warned to steer clear of but others come highly recommended.

Try searching for

Robinsons, Crown, Britannia, John Masons, Anglo Pacific, GB Liners, can't think of any more off the top of my head at the moment.

We had four companies around to do quotes and its surprising how differnt their estimates are, so its best to have a couple at least to compare!

We're just going going through the process at the moment. So far we've had Crown and Air Waves round for quotes for 20' container. I can't find any reference to Air Waves on here. I just filled in an on-line form and quite a few companies have contacted us (some more attractive in their approach than others).

We found White & Company very competitive on price and the most polite, helpful and least pushy of the companies we had round to quote. Pushy salesmen are an instant turn off to me but there was none of that at all with Whites.

What about Anglo Pacific? Anyone with good or bad reports about their service?
