Well we ahave been here a month & 2 days,nd at the moment it is bucketing down but it's not cold.
We have bought a car & we have bought bungalow got the keys and have moved in partly. Our stuff isn't due in Aukland until the7yh August so we are still living with our son till it comes. It's great to be here at last.:raebanana :raebanana

Glad you are enjoying it and that everything went smoothly. Is it everything you hoped it would be, and is it wonderful to meet the grandchildren at last? We are still trying to sell the house, so nothing is happening yet. Maybe you could send us some of the luck you had with yours!

Every thing is as we hoped it would be, the people are so friendly and helpful especialy when they know you are new to the country, Joined the local boat club this week and we were given a great welcome. The added bonus of course was meeting the grandchildren, they are absolutely gorgeous. I know we are going to reallly enjoy living here especially when our container arrives with all our stuff in it.:D

I've been here a month and I'm going back.....to pick up my wife and son and bring them out here. I'm starting to feel pretty settled - found a rental property, bought a car and the job is going OK. Looking forward to the weather improving though!
