Lots of sales going on here at the moment for the back to school season. I'm thinking of stocking up on some supplies that my kids will need for their first year (they turn 5 this January). Does anyone know what is on the school supplies list for kids that first year?

Can't remember exact books they need ie writing,alpabet poetry etc was on my daughters list including coloured pencils clear file folder & lead pencils but to be honest the whole lot only cost $25. Sure each school is different though & someone else will be able to tell you exactly whats needed. (in the end her school told me they didn't even need the pencils for the 1st year :no )

Some schools supply all the stuff so every child has the same .. you need to wait and see what your chosen school does about supplies.

Yes, they supply the lists and you all scurry off to the nearest stockists to get the books. Apparently start of term is when all the discounts are about, not that we have done that yet.

You could buy the stuff from our school for the kids too, competetively priced (and saved me trying to work out where to get it all from when we had only been here a couple of months!)
