We hope to move to Christchurch shortly and were just wondering if anyone could recommend any good stores to but any of the following items.
General kitchenware including kitchen electricals.
Bedding and Linen
Furniture
TV
Fridge Freezer
Second Hand Car
We are bringing a lot of stuff over in a container, but we need to get few things to replace the things we did not bring. :)

Are you asking to fill your container, or buying from NZ? Because if you had room in your container then I would seriously consider getting most of these items before you come.
Would guess its when you arrive in NZ though (car is a bit of a give-away)
As others have said, warehouse is always a good choice for most things, very cheap but a lot of stuff appears to be lower quality (great guarantee though). Other than the warehouse, here's a few others:-
General kitchenware including kitchen electricals - Briscoes is good, but definitely wait for the sales here (seems to be every other week), KMart, Famers
Bedding and Linen - Briscoes, Spotlight, Farmers
Furniture - Harvey Norman, Big Save
TV - Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, Dick Smith Electronics
Fridge Freezer - Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming

Same as stevec mentioned, warehouse is cheaper
For TV and fridge/freezer, try harvey normans on moorhouse ave as brought TV and dvd player cheap there.
For car, lots lots lots of car sales is on moorhouse ave :laugh or Turner's auction (next to flyover on way out of moorhouse ave to riccarton areas) as they do sell cars that not in auction list yet and we got our car very cheap (mean if car not sold by something like 7 days, then cars will go into auction, go in and ask for list that you can buy car "now" rather wait for auction)
