We're putting together the paperwork for the full assessment. Just need to check we are doing the right thing
certificate of completion - we've said we can't get one of these
degrees and diplomas - have the certs. no prob there.
transcripts of results/mark sheets/academic records - What do they want for transcripts of courses and exams? Aren't the exam certificates enough?
evidence of vocational......not relevant
employment records - we have some offer letters but mainly just pay slips....will that be ok?
current pract............not relevant.
Thanks...... the NZQA stuff is a nightmare:no

All sounds Ok but transcripts they want to match against NZ equivalent. I treid many avenues to get mine, eventually paid £50 to get copy of course, sent it off , all 70 pages of it plus copies, for NZQA to say not necessary but I also sent copies of all emails to my old Polytechnic which showed how hard I'd treid to get the transcript. My CO agreed I'd done the best possible and not to worry!
Yes I sent payslips.
When you get the document, check it carefully. A mistake on mine meant sending it back and I'm still waiting 3 weeks later, for the corrected version.
Good luck!

Hi there.
I think your pay slips will be fine however you may need something to support what your roll/ position was within the organisation such as a contract of employment or even a letter from the employer. I think it may be a case at this point, of send them everything you’ve got.
Your right it’s a total nightmare!
Is the full assessment based on an assessment of your qualification, marks within that course and your work experience combined or just the qualification itself?
What I mean is for example, I have 10 plus years of experience and City & Guilds levels 1&2, received a distinction in every component of the course and have a big pile of references.
Would I receive a higher assessed level than an applicant with lesser marks, shorter work experience and less references?
The reason I ask, is that I am currently awaiting pre-assessment and based on the limited information they receive from me in the online form, I fear that my qualification will not be up to par.
Would I get a better result by having a full assessment carried out?
Very sorry, I don’t want to hijack your thread.
Feel free to PM me rather than digress if you wish guys.
Thanks & best of luck,
James

Hi James, I'm not sure. The pre-assessment gave us the correct level of qualification that we required..level 7. I'm worrying that the full assessment will give us a lesser level.
I think the full assessment is on your educational level and work experience but someone who understands the NZQA process [which I don't] will hopefully come along and state for definate.
