You might also want to check out earthcam.com which has links to cams world wide. Just type in New Zealand under the search facility
Oh yes, the Tauranga cams give you control as well. Great way to check out beaches/traffic etc. during the NZ holiday period.

The Wave cam in Tauranga does take a little while to connect sometimes, so be patient.

If yopu are interested in surfing, or perhaps just beaches... check out surf.co.nz, as they have web cams at all the major surf breaks
