Hello my name is Joanna and with my husband and two sons (ages 11 and 9)have moved over from the Uk to Wellington. Are there any get togethers ? Would love to meet people in the Wellington area.

Hi,

Ive never done it, but I think if you go to the toolbar at the top, and click on 'quick links', scroll down to 'edit profile', then on the left hand side of screen click 'edit signature'. Hope that works, if it doesn't, the option you need will definately be in that left hand side tool bar.

Actually, I think you'd need to contact ENZ (that's Douglas the moderator) because a user name tends to be fixed and can't be changed (unlike a signature).

It's not a great idea using an email addy as a user name because it could lead to you gettting heaps of spam mail as it's easily picked up by troll-bots.

Wiki Is correct in saying you need to contact ENZ (Douglas).
You will find him in the members list under e for enz. Just send him a pm and he will do it for you. He changed ours from Caroline B to Caroline and Dave no trouble at all.
Anyway welcome to the forum and we will all do our best to see your provided with all the info.

Thanks, I have gone into ENZ on members list but cannot find how to send private message. Sorry, to be a pain - any advice?

Select User CP (control panel) not member list
And then select "Send New Message" on the left (under Private Messages).

Actually, under the new rules you won't be able to send a personal message until you've made five posts (it's a rule to stop spammers getting on here)

thanks you everyone for your help. Thanks wiki! Just a quick note about us. We came over in April this year and hubby works in CBD in Wellington. Children, both boys, have settled in well at school. Finding our feet and exploring the area. Would love to hear how other people are getting on.
