Our visas have arrived! Got the passports with the blue stickers through the post today. Yippee!!!
They got section 18A attached which is slightly annoying as our job offer is in Northland and we want to live in Southland or Otago. Bit far for commuting...
Now we're waiting for the house sale to go through. Solicitor said he hopes to exchange by the end of next week. Then we'll have three weeks to completion,which for us means three weeks to sort everything out: book the flights for the day after completion, book a container for completion day, do all the packing and list-making (we're self-shipping),sort out all the organisational stuff like banks and utilities and that, say goodbye to everyone. Will three weeks be a bit short to get everything done?! (Most of our friends say it's way too short and we're completely mad...)
Anyway: Yippee!!!

We also 'did it all' in 3 weeks. We got our passports back with nice blue stickers in the morning, and had flights booked by lunchtime....3 weeks later we were on our way....
