Hi folks,

Well, we're really on the last lap now. We all went into NZ House in London on Monday and got the visa put in our passports. All very smooth in the end.

So we're ready to roll. We're staying with friends for a few days as our house sold last week and the container was packed up for shipping. Our flight is on Thursday night with Singapore Airlines - I'm a bit nervous about the flight because our 5-year old son has never been on a plane before. I'll be very glad when we're getting off the plane in Auckland.

Because I've already been out there for just over a month we're pretty well settled - I've bought a car (which is currently sat in the long-stay parking at Auckland Airport) and rented a house, so hopefully it will be easy for my wife and son to settle in. I'm back to work on Monday, so they'll have to explore on their own, which I think will be good for them.

Right, time for a last few bits of sorting out. Thanks to all on here for your help. maybe we'll bump into some of you in Auckland!
