Finally, after looking into this yet how many years now? We have just bought tickets and will be arriving in Wellington on Jan 1st!! It feels excellent, if terrifying. I had to do a bit of jumping up and down with excitement.

Thanks all, I've just finished telling all my family and I seem to have shocked them all. Funny because I think I've been talking about this for 3 years. I've learned patience and persistance in this process, to say the least. Each family member did get to the point of being supportive, after some of the shock was past. I think it's quite hard for people who feel as if they are loosing you- even though it is what you need to do to make yourself happy (and not to spend the rest of your life saying, I wish I had...).


Opps, forgot to say that I got us booked in for 2 weeks at a holiday rental in Lower Hutt to get us sorted when we land. That makes it seem very real now!
