We may be relocating from Wellington to Queenstown after only 4 months in Welly!

I currently work for the DHB as a mental health social worker. Anyone have recommendations on possible employers in the Queenstown area?

We are planning to head to the Lakes as well (Wanaka next July or so) but I don't know much about the health care jobs near Queenstown. Pete (http://www.emigratenz.org/forum/member.php?u=2991) and his wife Kathy (http://www.emigratenz.org/forum/member.php?u=2665) from the forum live in Arrowtown and Pete works for the QLDC (Queenstown Lake District Council) so he might be able to give you some ideas if you pm him or post a note for him to see.

I read a couple of the local papers online; the QT paper is www.scene.co.nz (http://www.scene.co.nz) ; the Otago Daily Times (www.odt.co.nz (http://www.odt.co.nz)) also covers the area; the Wanaka paper is the Wanaka Sun (www.wanakasun.co.nz) (http://www.wanakasun.co.nz%29). There are some job listings for the area on seek (www.seek.co.nz (http://www.seek.co.nz)) but not a lot. I haven't really checked out the other job sites but from a quick check the jobs.odt.co.nz site has posts for QT .
