Well the original plan was to apply under the skilled migrant category wait till we had the little blue sticker and then move. I have recieved an ITA BUT i am not going to go through with it. My wife and I have now decided to set a firm date next year(March), spend a while travelling then seek a job when in New Zealand. Fortunatley we are both in the skilled migrant category so we should not have any problems(fingers crossed). This puts us back in charge and is actually cheaper. Of course this assumes that the goalposts are not moved by immigration again. fingers crossed the exchange rate is better by that point as well.
