We have had our residence visa approved and also a returning residents visa for 2 years,
Kim is going down to London tomorrow to collect the paperwork and get those passports back.
Thanks to all who have given us advice in the last few months and thanks to NZIS for such a quick turn around.

Finally got down to London today to pick up passports and visas. Blue stickers are not what I was expecting - not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this.

Someone was supposed to call today to pick up campervan but they 'broke down' on the way. Now expected tomorrow morning. hope they turn up as it will be a relief to get rid and get some money, (although not as much as I wanted). Also got someone coming to pick up some of our furniture that we can't take or don't want to take.

Dining table and chairs are gone - I am sitting on the floor in the dining room typing away.

Move out on Monday to allow us to finish packing and cleaning.

We are staying with friends in Browns Bay, Auckland to start with, until our container arrives, and then renting somewhere in that area I expect

Lovely image! Can't wait until we're in that situation. I'm sitting here with my suitcase all packed and ready wondering how I'm going to pass the time until 4pm when I get taken to the station to go to the airport. How many more cups of coffee can I drink?

Fly from Manchester to London on Thursday morning, then in the afternoon on to LA, 4 nights in LA and arrive at 06:30 Wednesday morning.
