Hi All
This has probably been asked loads but when you fill in details of family members in EOI etc do you have to include parents, siblings etc or just immediate family than are accompanying you? This paperwork in driving me mad and having mental block!:roll
Thanks

Immediate family accompanying you - partner, kids.
If you have young adult kids who may not join you immediately but may want to at some point - others may be able to answer that one for you.

As I understand it put immediate family on EOI and you can add others at ITA stage. If siblings or parents wanted to join you in NZ at a later date they could use you as a type of sponsor as you will already be there, but there are some rulings ie. with siblings you have to prove that you have more family in NZ than UK

I assume you are talking about the later section of the EOI that asks you to detail all family members? If that is the case then yes, you should list everyone (parents, siblings etc).
AFAIK, this doesn't affect your application at all, but is important if you later want to sponsor your family members e.g. your parents i.e. if you don't list them here then you can't sponsor them later.
If you have already submitted your EOI, then you can amend the details when they send you the ITA.

when I filled in my Partnership application they made me fill in everyone of my OH's siblings, even though they were all born in and living in NZ. I thought this was so bizzare I phoned them and they were adament they all had to be included. There reasoning was that if they weren't on the application they couldnt immigate later! (I then AGAIN mentioned that they dont plan to immigrate to NZ as they are already here.
