:o OH claimed points for his diploma on his EOI and have now been asked to have the diploma pre-assessed. We only added the diploma and didnt include another certificate as we couldnt find the space for it on the EOI which we did online.
We not too sure if we shoul apply for both the qualifications to have full assessment or would they not even look at the other certificates which we didnt include in the EOI.

OMG this is so diffy - we dont know wh to approach to ask all these questions - but am sure someone will give me some advise.

We wonder if we wasting time and should go ahead and just apply for both certificates. Help:confused:

I would say it depends upon your hubbies job and the level of the other qualification.

As I understand it they are interested in your general qualifications i.e. to assess your level of english and intelligence but it is only if your qualification reaches the required level (in our case level 7) for the skill you have that you will get in under the skilled migrant category.

We had my hubbies highest qualification pre-assesed before submitting our EOI. For that he didn't have to supply certs. just fill in a form with details of the institutions he had studied at. For the ITAs required full assessment we're
having to provide full details of all his certificates, school details etc. So I would think your hubbie will have to include the diploma that he didn't mention with the full assessment anyway..........not necessarily have it assesed....unless of course it is of a higher level than the one you have submitted.

Hope that makes sense.

A word of warning: my pre-assessment took more than 5 weeks in spite of being straightforward - so get yours in asap!

Yeah, we had problems with our pre-assess too...took about 3mths. First one was our fault. Clicked the right link but somehow we managed to fill in the wrong form. They didn't tell us and we were trying to be ever so patient. After 6wks we contacted them and they were very helpful.......said they would stop the application and use the money for the correct application.

Sent the new [correct] form in and after 3wks hadn't heard owt so phoned again. This time it didn't show up on their system at all..... even though we had a number for the application. It turned out their system had had a glitch and although had initially taken the application it didn't flag it on their system as a new case............................

ARGH.

They were really helpful though and once all the stressy stuff was sorted out it moved very quickly.
