We are now getting everything sorted to submit awaiting written confirmation of job and am started to more confused by the minute and I thought we were prepared.

Am I right in thinking that if you have to register with professional body in NZ to work and having done that that you don't have to go down the NZQA route?

Thanks think I should just submit the stuff and stop worrying!

Hi yes I think it depends on the trade. If construction then you need to do NZQA so they can check to see if your qualifications are an acceptable grade in NZ

It's my OH he's blood bank manager and already registered with NZ medical laboratory science board. Slight concern was that guidance didn't have the board on list but referred to in other information and Long term skills list as requirement. Just worried cos job offer has start date of November (although will be flexible) NZQA would delay things by months from what I can gather

Thanks folks
