Well I had around 2 or 3 tablespoons porridge at 8am today and then nothing, nada, zilch, not even a drink of water 'cause I had to have fasted bloods done at 3pm.
Was late due to very bad traffic on the M4 around Newport......talking around 3.30pm now.......... and guess what.........

I'd forgotten my friggin passport AAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

No can do says the nurse even though I had my drivers licence and she could verify with the Dr that did my medical and the radiographer that did my x-ray. They had to see my passport.

So off I go on next Tuesday eve after work to get it done GRRR Can't believe I was so stoopid. Needless to say I went straight to a local pub and had a meal YUMM

Oh no:o . Don't you just hate it when that happens! I hope you managed an extra portion of chips at the pub - with double choc cheese cake for pud. And a coffee. And then the benecol drink.

All I'd been thinking on my way to the appt was..........Donut....Donut....I'm going to have a Donut......... then when I get home I'm going to get some fresh eggs the chooks have just laid and have boiled eggs and soldiers **drool**

Now I've got to eat porridge again and not have my eggs tomorrow am. My Sunday religion...... boiled eggs and a pot of proper coffee sitting chilling to the radio.

:roll :wah :o

I did have fish and chips at the pub though with a pint of orange juice lol.

When I had my medical I knew my BMI was in the 30s and my waist was large so I didn't eat or drink all morning incase they needed fasting blood tests - fortunately they didn't although the doc did keep making comments about how much healthier I would be and how my joints would be better if I lost weight.

As we walked out of the Drs we crossed the road and had a full english and I also ate my sons eggs, so much for losing weight..

Hope you test go well next week.

You will never forget that passport again, will you.
