Is it correct that you have to send in your original qualifications not copies.

Absolutely. Originals only but they do send back by DHL. Bit frightening sending them half way around the world but a necessary evil. You could always take a copy first and get them certified by a solicitor although we didn't. Good Luck

HI, I've replied to your PM.

We sent in the originals of everything, even our marriage certificate. We also photocopied everything and put the photocopies at the back of all the originals.

It seems to have paid off 'cause we've had an e-mail just 2wks after sending the documents to NZQA to say the qualification has been assessed and they are returning everything to us shortly.

Just pray now we still have the level 7 we were pre-assessed as having.

Unless you've kept your maiden name and your hubbie has kept his erm.....pre-married name, knightly name? I would say yes. Both my hubbie and I changed our names after getting married so we worked on the premise that it definately needed to go in.

I'm in South Africa and was extremely nervous about sending all my wifes degrees and other docs. Short story is it was couriered back in short order and everything is fine. We did use DHL international, though - don't trust the SA Post office that much!

We used the GPO but sent it all International Signed For.........cost £11.36 would have been £20 odds if we'd done it as a letter as opposed to a small packet though.
