Is iTunes available in NZ? What is the cost? Does it have the same choices as in the States? Thanks

I don't use it myself, but it does appear to be available i.e. check out this link iTunes NZ (http://www.apple.com/nz/itunes/)
Prices appear to be 99 cents per song?
Can't comment on the choice.

There is an NZ specific iTunes store. Basic price for a track is $1.79. That makes it cheaper than the UK iTunes (equiv of 64p rather than 79p) but more expensive than the US store (equiv of US$1.28 rather than US$0.99).
Choice seems extensive, but is definitely different. You can just have a browse of it by scrolling to the bottom of Store home page in iTunes and selecting "New Zealand" from the "My Store" dropdown, you'll quickly see if your favourite bands are represented!

Do they do movies, do you happen to know? I had a look but couldn't really see anything. They don't do movies in the UK one, which I found really disappointing. Apparently, you can only download from the US one if you have a US billing address, which I don't.
Guess I'll just have to wait, then...

Nathan, if you maintain a US billing address you can still use the US iTunes while you are here in NZ. That is what we do and it works well.
