Hi,

I am just about to start looking around for quotes for using a removal company uk to nz. Can anyone tell me how long it takes for a container to arrive.

Thanks

8-10 weeks we've been quoted, depends who you use, but think this is about the norm, there has been lots of threads on removal companies if you do a search, I haven't got a clue how to provide you with a link!!!

We were initially quoted 8 -10 weeks as well. However, the ship set sail about a week after the container left our house and total voyage time from UK to NZ was only 32 days.
There were no delays and we actually arrived in Auckland on the same day as our container.

Our ship missed its connection apparently, and our container took over 3 months to arrive. Torture.

You can actually choose how long you want it to take (except for "delays" Sam B :) ).
We were offered the possibility to let it take more time, so we wouldn't have to store it (extra costs) before we had chosen where it should be unloaded.

BTW, a longer travel for the container is also cheaper!

Then I'd ask for a refund if I were you Sam...........:laugh :laugh :laugh
