How many chest xrays are needed? My OH had 2 taken (money money)a frontal & then a side. All clear but I wonder why? Of course he didn't ask at the clinic & I didn't want to be the mad mummy dragging him in to find out.Has anyone needed more than one?

Next & extremely important. Where can I get hold of washing sachets. Seems to be only powder or liquid in this area. I have a front loader & found the sachets/cakes that go directly into the drum the best. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm not sure, but since you are in Kapiti, you could try phoning a store called Soapbox in Otaki. All they sell is cleaners and detergents, but I haven't been in so don't know exactly what they carry.

We only had 1 chest X-ray taken per person, so no idea why your OH had 2 taken!

Don't know anyone who has had more than one chest x-ray for purposes of medical. Thought they were only supposed to take more than one if they needed to look at something specific.

I had 2 shots taken because I'm tall and the radiologist wasn't sure she'd got everything on the one shot.

I have never seen the washing powder tablets here, I just use Persil powder in our front loader.

Thank you ... I am amazed how you find all these sites! Crikey but they are expensive. After checking out the suggestions I think it's powder or nothing.

My husband also had two taken as he is tall.
Good luck with your application

We used to use persil liquitabs in UK. Here we found some Eco Store washing liquid in the supermarket. The bottle has a squirty top so you don't have to mess about measuring liquid into the lid. It says on the bottle you can get up to 20 washes per bottle. When we put the reccomended amount (for front loaders) in our UK front loader...I had to spend an hour scooping foam out :exit

But, this stuff is fab, and I worked out you get more like 60 washes per bottle if you put in less (still works just as well) which means it is damn cheap too:)
