I just got off the phone with our shipping company and was told that our container would probably need to be "x-rayed".

I was told that this was because it was coming in from the Netherlands and they have recently started to scann all containers from there.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Ours had the full treatment, xray and then searched with dogs I believe. We had some 250 copied DVD and 4 DVD players but they were not interested in those. All they finally found was a dryed piece of orange that was a xmas decoration.

I think they xray a proporttion of containers as a matter of normal practice.

they were not worried about wooden objets, garden stuff. just our 12 cases of white wine!!

cost us 2 week delays as custom guy went sick who had final sign off.
