Hi all,

We really would like to move over to NZ next year but have been having trouble finding interviews etc. I am currently a project co-ordinator for a large engineering consultancy working partly in the telecommunications industry amongst other areas. We would be prepared to move out to any area in New Zealand really, although Auckland / Northland would be ideal. We are going to be getting married in Coromandel just after new year and I'll have a couple of days free either side of the wedding before we head off for our honeymoon, so would be able to attend any interviews necessary whilst over there. If anyone could help point me in the right direction of any companies etc it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot

Tony

There are loads about at the moment. Companies are desperate for people who can walk into projects and start - but they usually someone to start immediately.
Have you tried contacting agencies and submitting your CV to them to see if they think you would be an appropriate fit? I have contacts at several agencies in Auckland if you'd be interested.

There are 561 project management/coordinator jobs listed on Seek NZ (http://www.seek.co.nz) right now. Good luck! :nice1

In recruitment for the last 6 months and we were all crying out for Project coOrdinators. You need to be here though as they will want you asap.

Give them the dates you are able to make interviews and do NOT tell them you are not here permanetly. you would be surprised how quick they will respond. Use a hotmail account that does not show you are still aborad.

good luck with Wedding we did exactly the same as you and got married here before we moved a year later. Our honeymoon was in the Coromandel fabulous place.

Hi, thanks a lot for that!! I've been looking at photos of Coromandel and it looks amazing around there, 3 weeks is just not enough time to see all the places we want to see!! If I apply for jobs but dont mention im in the UK will they still accept me as an applicant once they find out im not living in NZ after the interviews lined up? What would you suggest is the best way of going about the whole thing?

Thanks

Tony
