How long can you drive on a foreign licence for? Is it only the written test you have to sit? How many questions to pass? That is enough questions for now!
And by the way, congratulations.

Only written test as long as you have held a full drivers' licence for 3 years, I believe. If not you'll have to take a full test!
Welldone Gil - I got them all right too when I took the test in the summer. It does feel like a huge milestone - you are right. I was so proud when my NZ licence arrived in the post (well, until I saw the photo....)
Hope you're celebrating!

You can drive on a foreign license for 12 months.
If your practical experience is similar to NZ then you only have to sit the theory test otherwise you will also need to pass the practical test.
You need to pass 32 questions out of 35 multiple choice question.

When taking my written test, I was by an official at the centre that you need to have held a full licence for 3 years in the country you sat your test, otherwise you would need to take a full practical test. I presume she had her facts right, but if not then I will set her right!

I was actually quoting how long you can continue to drive on an overseas license before you must sit the theory test.
But, taken from the factsheet that I posted previously
You don't have to sit the practical test if:
you have a licence from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the United States of America, and
your licence is current (or has expired within the past 12 months), and
you've held that licence for more than two years.
Then it would appear that she did NOT have her facts correct i.e. you only need to have held your license for at least two years.
