Not a real interview, just a meeting with an agency, but I was there for over an hour. Interview was in auckland CBD so had to get my first bus in NZ, unfortunately I had to take the boys with me as I had less than 24 hours notice and the in laws didn't want to babysit (something to do with a 24 hour flight :laugh )
Agency is putting me forward for a job with Goodman Fielder, one of NZs biggest bakers / dairy producers and will be meeting with the HR director tomorrow, so hopefully should here something soon. They are also looking at Air NZ who may have suitable positions.
Just need to get those boys into school,

Sounds promising; how did Kim get on at work? Hope she feels positive too even though its early days?

Sounds good news Speckythecky. Are the boys as keen to start school as you are to get a job though?

That's the first step in the right direction John, I'm sure you'll get something soon but in the meantime try to have a bit of fun too - I'm sure Kim won't mind you having fun on the beach whilst she's slaving away!

Jamie is in need of some routine in his life, so starting school will be good for him, and should calm him down, Josh says he will only start school after I take him to Meat King (a big butchers between us and albany).
We are viewing one school on Friday afternoon.
Kim has had 2 days at work so far, one 7:30 start and a 9:30 start, today was an 8:30 start so she can used to traffic over the bridge, so far she seems to be enjoying it, but feels that it is not very organised at the moment, no daily, weekly or even monthly planning, just every term.
