I'm worrying now.....got our medicals back and as expected my cholesterol is 7.2mmol. This is the only thing that appeared on my medical so I thought I'd be pretty safe.
However, I remember somone on here recently saying they were refused due to BMI...... and they had a Kiwi partner...........
Anyone else on here been refused for one [I wouldn't class it as serious] high level result?

That is the same result I got for my cholesterol, mind you I was 35 weeks pregnant at the time. Dr said although my 'bad' cholesterol was high, the 'good' cholesterol was also high, so counteracted the negative effect. You should check this. If you are otherwise fit and healthy, you shouldn't find this a problem.

familyofmonkeys, can i be cheeky and ask what your HDL, LDL and ration was? If you still remember?
I don't have the advantage of being pregnant unfortunately.
HDL - 1.01
LDL - 5.2
HDL ratio - 7.1
don't know how that is interpreted I'm afraid.

Michael's liver function results were way higher than acceptable and he was worried sick that he would be denied PR because of it (or made to have loads of other tests) but nothing was ever mentioned. I don't know whether that was just luck or whether because all the rest was fine it was considered not that important!
